User controls such as volume up, volume down, talk, power/status, and pairing help you in tailoring the unit to your particular, moment-to-moment needs. Though the unit can be used with a Listen Technologies headset ”or standard smartphone earbuds ”the LK-1 comes with an LA-401 Universal Ear Speaker, as well as a lanyard (useful for on-the-go scenarios), and an LA-365 rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The LK-1 is fully compliant with ADA standards for assistive listening.
