Every connection you need, including eight total Neutrik XLR connectors (four male and four female wired in parallel) in front and two Amphenol RJ45 connections in back, come pre-installed and clearly labeled. The WallCAT 8 is designed to keep strong, stable connections, and the brushed aluminum and stainless steel mounting screws (included) are resistant to rust and most wear-and-tear.

SoundTools WallCAT 8 requires shielded (STP/FTP) Cat cable to function properly. It is compatible with 48-volt phantom power. Using several SoundTools WallCAT 8 units and the optional SuperCAT cable in your building installation will allow you to run four channels of clear analog audio signals from one room to another or to multiple rooms at once.
