Sony BZ53L Overview

The Sony BRAVIA FW-98BZ53L 98" UHD 4K HDR Commercial Monitor is a 780 nits bright, Android OS based professional display. Featuring 24/7 continuous operation, flexible installation, a full suite of professional apps and settings, and Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare Coating, the FW-98BZ53L is ideal for large and bright spaces, like retail showrooms and corporate lobbies.

With four HDMI inputs, you can connect a wide variety of devices with up to 4K 120 Hz video capability and HDCP 2.3. The FW-98BZ53L features an integrated USB media player and Android OS, allowing it to be deployed as a stand-alone display solution, or with RS-232 and IP control capability it can be easily integrated into a larger A/V network. Additionally, the FW-98BZ53L has an S-Center speaker input to allow it to be used as the center channel speaker when connecting to a Sony audio system with S-CENTER OUT.

Deep Black Non-Glare Coating

Bright or harsh room lights can mean gray, washed-out images. Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare Coating combines anti-glare and low-reflection technologies to reduce reflections and boost contrast. A microscopic unevenness is added to the surface of the display panel that reflects incidental light in all directions. Reflections become a whitish blur that's less noticeable to viewers than sharply reflected light. A special coating is added to the surface of the panel to bounce light off the surface of the clear layer as well as the panel surface beneath. Interference between the reflected rays causes cancellation, reducing reflections seen by viewers.

With XR Contrast Booster, bright areas are brighter and dark areas darker, adding depth to scenes without lost highlights or shadow details.

The ability to carry the 98" model vertically (portrait style) gives easier access in elevators and stairways. The ergonomically positioned lower horizontal handles are easy to grab, making lifting easier and more comfortable. Signal connections, networking and other interfaces are conveniently side mounted for easy installation and access when the display is in portrait position. The Sony logo is discreetly positioned on the edge of the display's slim 20mm bezel, so it is not distracting your audience from the immersive images. Install the FW-98BZ53L in portrait or landscape orientation to suit any corporate or retail space, with a tilt range of -15 to +20 degrees for even greater flexibility.

Disable input or remote control functions, remove labels, and block buttons to avoid tampering when the screen is being used in public spaces. Customize and store display settings, then copy them easily from display to display via USB flash memory.

Informing and guiding visitors with digital signage in retail stores and corporate spaces has never been simpler. Built-in support for HTML5 makes it easy to display interactive signage content on BRAVIA without the need for a dedicated set-top box, media player, or PC. On-board BRAVIA Signage Free (BSF) software automatically plays out HTML content, video, and photos when a USB stick memory is slipped into BRAVIA.
