Shure MXA920 Overview
Shure MXA920-S Microflex Advance Square 24" Ceiling Microphone Array (White)
The white Shure MXA920-S is a square 24" ceiling array microphone that is easy to use and quick to deploy for AV conferencing, camera tracking, voice lift, or sound reinforcement applications. The unit offers a powerful feature set, including Automatic Coverage and Steerable Coverage technology, that focuses audio capture to make sure everyone gets heard clearly for more productive meetings and presentations. This 24" version of the MXA920-S is designed for use with standard 2' American ceiling tiles.
How It Works
- Automatic Coverage technology captures the talkers you want to hear while avoiding sounds in other areas, without aiming pickup lobes
- Out of the box, the MXA920 covers up to a 30 by 30' seating area with no setup at all
- To capture talkers only in specific locations, drag and drop up to 8 adjustable coverage areas using the built-in web interface
- Capture simultaneous talkers in different areas at the same time
- You can also turn Automatic Coverage technology off and use Steerable Coverage technology to place 8 pickup lobes with 8 individual audio outputs, plus an automix-just like an MXA910
- Onboard IntelliMix DSP applies automatic mixing, echo cancellation, noise reduction, and automatic gain control for a pristine audio mix
Powerful Features
- Next generation array architecture delivers enhanced low-frequency directionality and natural, intelligible speech quality
- Advanced talker localization algorithm instantly reports the exact position of each talker for the most accurate camera tracking possible
- Precise coverage control provides exceptional isolation between microphone lobes and loudspeakers, guaranteeing the maximum sound level possible in voice lift and sound reinforcement applications
- In larger spaces, Designer System configuration software helps you configure MXA920's with other Microflex Ecosystem devices
- Choose Teams-certified bundles with the ANIUSB-MATRIX, P300-IMX, or IntelliMix Room DSP and MXN5C networked loudspeaker
Quality Details
- Square and round form factors meet the architectural needs of today's meeting spaces
- White, black, and aluminum finishes to complement your interior design all paintable for custom needs
- Certified for use with Microsoft Teams and compatible with popular collaboration tools
- Audio, PoE power, and control signals connect via Dante/AES67 digital audio networking over a single cable
- Shure Audio Encryption keeps meeting content secure between the MXA920 and other Microflex ecosystem devices in the room
- LED status bar with configurable colors and brightness
- Command strings enable seamless integration with third-party camera and room control systems

Shure ANIUSB-MATRIX USB Audio Network Interface
The ANIUSB-MATRIX USB Audio Network Interface from Shure is designed for audio/video conferencing installations in small- and medium-size meeting rooms. It can be used to connect 4 Microflex Advanced or Microflex Wireless microphone channels via Dante (4 in/2 out), and provide analog connectivity to a room audio/video conferencing system or a PC-based A/V conferencing application via USB (1 in/out).
An internal matrix mixer offers flexible routing, allowing users to route any input to any output. A 4-band parametric EQ filter is also available on the analog and USB outputs. The ANIUSB-MATRIX is compact and easy to mount without an equipment rack.
Features
Connects 4 Dante audio inputs and 1 analog input to an A/V conferencing system or a PC-based videoconferencing application
Flexible signal routing and connectivity: analog audio (1 block in/1 block out) to room A/V conferencing system USB (1 in/out) to connect to laptop or room PC
Power over Ethernet (PoE) eliminates the need for an outboard power supply
Compact form factor is easy to mount without equipment rack
