Well suited for use in small to medium conference rooms, event spaces, and lecture halls, the A40 Core Ceiling Array Microphone Kit with Interface and Controller from Nearity is an integrated ceiling microphone installation solution for in-room audio that includes the A40 24-element microphone array, the AMX100 DSP hub, and the ACT10 wired controller. The system s sophisticated beamforming technology provides 8 sidelobes that can be customized, according to different room layouts and seating arrangements, to block noises out and effectively capture sound in fixed directions. The A40 features two RJ45 ports, allowing it to easily interface with networked PoE conference systems. Use the free Nearsync software download for Windows and Mac computers to set up and adjust the unit.

The included Nearity AMX100 DSP is a necessary component for the ceiling mic module. Its rich interfaces support the connection of loudspeakers, PCs, wireless microphones, ACT10 controllers, and other devices. At the same time, it is compatible with traditional MCU conference rooms, and is easily applied to various conference scenes.

Eliminate Office Clutter

The AMX100 can connect local wireless microphones and passive speakers to form a simple and fast local sound reinforcement system, and transmit wireless microphone sound to the remote participants via USB.

ACT10 Controller

Simple & Intuitive Remote Control

The included ACT10 is one of the accessories of the ceiling microphone system and can intelligently control the corresponding ceiling mic device, quickly switch the volume up/down, engage the mute on/off functions, and support the one button mode to turn on/off local sound reinforcement mode. The unit connects to the AMX100 via RJ45. You will need to supplement the cable with additional Ethernet cable (available separately) depending on the length needed.
