Nearity AW-A50 Overview

Well suited for use in conference rooms, event spaces, and lecture halls, the A50 from Nearity is an integrated ceiling installation microphone array for in-room audio. Featuring a 91-element microphone array, deep sidelobe beamforming, and advanced AI driven signal processing, the unit ensures that every word is heard clearly and intelligibly.

Targeted Voice Amplification with an Innovative Approach

The A50 ceiling microphone uses innovative technology to amplify the voice of the person speaking in large meeting rooms, eliminating the need for the spokesperson to wear a separate lavalier mic or hold a hand microphone while moving around the room. It uses 91 MEMS microphones and deep sidelobe beamforming to pick up sound for up to 12 independent lobes.

Deep-Learning AI Trained to Distinguish Human Voice from Other Noise

Advanced technology automatically detects even moving presenters and orients the mics in their direction for amplification, broadcast, or both. Embedded with an onboard digital signal processor, the Nearity A50 applies deep-learning AI capabilities, including advanced audio technologies such as audio mixing routing, echo cancellation, noise reduction, and automatic gain control, ensuring vivid speech in a wide area.

Boost Productivity in Spaces of All Sizes

The A50 ceiling microphone is an efficient solution for various settings, from small classrooms to large lecture halls and boardrooms. Up to eight units can be connected through Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to expand the audio coverage and reach larger spaces.

Flexible Installation Methods

The A50 ceiling microphone can be mounted using suspended construction or a VESA mount and features Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) for easy and convenient ceiling array integration. Depending on the size of the room, the ideal height is 9 to 15 . In addition, Nearity ASP110 and ASP100 loudspeakers are available separately to supplement the system. Adding the AMX100 DSP (available separately) for the audio routing allows you to connect a third-party loudspeaker.
