The Ergotron Wall Plate adds extra support when attaching an Ergotron arm or pivot to a wall. It s recommended when installing a monitor or keyboard mount to a steel stud, or when the mount would otherwise be positioned off-center from a stud.
The plate strengthens installation by distributing weight over a larger surface area. Compatible products include the LX Wall Monitor Arm, MX Mini Wall Arm, 100 Series Single Pivot, and other LX, 400, 200, and 100 Series mounts. The plate is made of aluminum and measures 3.5 x 8.4 . Fasteners for attaching to a wall are not included.
