Peerless-AV Universal Soundbar Mounting Kit For 32 To 70' TVs

I bought two Vizio soundbars for our bedroom TVs. With one, I ordered the Sanus mounting kit. With the other, I accidentally ordered this Peerless model instead of the Sanus. The quality of the materials and finish on Peerless are comparable, but the Sanus wins hands-down on design. The biggest problem with the Peerless is that there is that the two metal arms are connected to each other directly, with no gasket or other material adding friction at the elbow. Consequently, you have to tighten down the adjustment screw insanely tight to keep the soundbar from sagging. This wouldnt be so bad, but the adjustment screw is a small Phillips head, and its extremely difficult to tighten without stripping. I was able to get it to work by inserting some layers of paper in the elbow to give it some friction, and I carefully tightened the screws without stripping them. Unless youre on a crazy tight budget, I recommend you get the Sanus version of this.
