In contrast to the standard Bowado 36 cart, the Proaim Bowado Pro 36 Video Production Camera Cart features 25mm vertical rods on the four corners, and the top shelf is height-adjustable along these rods. The rods are made of mild steel while the rest of the cart of high-grade aluminum.
The Bowado Pro is a two-tier equipment cart that can be transformed into a DIT cart, used as a sound or lighting cart, or turned into an equipment dolly. Carpet lining on both the top and bottom shelves provides a soft surface that minimizes noise when you place gear on it, and also keeps gear from freely rolling around on the surface.
The top shelf adjusts up and down the vertical rods and is secured in place via locking knobs on each corner. You can adjust the height to accommodate larger items placed underneath. The cart comes with 9 pneumatic wheels and supports up to 440 lb loads. The use of pneumatic wheels ensures that the overall setup remains light, smooth, and sturdy. The stainless steel bearings withstand a lot of wear and tear and enable the cart to roll quietly and effortlessly, including on uneven terrains. Foot brakes on the wheels are designed to maintain their strength even as the tires experience wear and tear and lose thickness over time.
