Atlona AT-WAVE-101 Wi-Fi Wireless AV Presentation Platform

The WAVE-101`s Wi-Fi wireless BYOD interfacing is simply enabled through the device`s native casting protocol (including AirPlay, Google Cast, or Miracast). It allows for screen mirroring from up to four devices without the need to install an app. The unit can serve as an integrated, dual-band access point or it can be networked into an existing Wi-Fi installation. In addition, the WAVE-101 supports Miracast over Infrastructure, which allows Miracast over a facility Wi-Fi network or LAN rather than over a direct wireless link.

The system is equipped with a host of other convenient features for integrators and end users including programmable display control, a customizable welcome screen, storage and display of user-supplied static and video media, YouTube Live streaming, support for cloud-based digital signage applications, and more.

The WAVE-101 lets you cast your screen from an iOS, Android, Mac, Chromebook, or Windows device. There`s no setup necessary beforehand-just use the native AirPlay, Google Cast, or Miracast protocol built into your laptop, smartphone, or tablet. For security, the WAVE-101 can randomly generate PIN access codes.

Dynamic Layout Mode

For hands-free, effortless user operation, the proprietary Dynamic Layout Mode is an innovative feature of the WAVE-101 that automatically adapts the on-screen layout to a new, incoming content source, or whenever a presenter disconnects from the system.

Instructor Mode

Designed for educational applications, Instructor Mode allows a user to manage multiple presenters, adjust audio volume, upload and play media content, and switch between layouts. When activated, Instructor Mode automatically places each newly connected student device into a queue. Through a web portal, the instructor determines which students can share content with everyone.

Media Storage and Playback

The WAVE-101 lets you play locally stored images and videos (up to 4K)-ideal for instructors who need to share multimedia content with students. It can also play content available on YouTube.

YouTube Live Streaming

YouTube live streaming delivers live instruction and presentations to support remote participants. This capability is ideal for education and training applications, and also allows content to be delivered to overflow rooms.

Cloud Based Digital Signage

The WAVE-101 can serve as a digital signage player, integrating with cloud-based platforms such as DAKboard. This enables you to stream customized content in your classroom room or common areas when the displays are not in use.
