Panasonic DLE0 Overview

Designed for use with single-chip DLP projectors, the allows you to change the focal length, which enables a range of projection distances. For this lens, the focal distance is 11.8 - 14.6mm. It has a zoom ratio of 1.2:1 and a fairly short-throw ratio of 0.8 - 1.0:1 when paired with a projector that has a 4:3 aspect ratio. The throw ratio will vary slightly depending on whether the aspect ratio is 4:3, 16:10 or 16:9. Installing a power zoom lens affords greater flexibility since you can alter the projection distance without actually moving the projector. This is handy for permanently installed projectors. You can compensate for miscalculations during installation and it's possible to adjust your display proportions depending on class size or type of presentation.
