The Schneider Optics Cine Digitar 1.5x Anamorphic Lens is an anamorphic lens used to stretch an image by factor 1.5x. This lens works in conjunction with a Cine-Digitar prime lens to acheive a digital cinema aspect ratio of 1:85. From 5:4 aspect ratio, SXGA1280 x 1024 projectors, it creates a 1.85 aspect ratio image without letterboxing

Eliminates Letterboxing s Black Bars
With all of the projector s pixels being used, the black bars from letterboxing are eliminated, and the resulting image fills the full height and width of the screen with images of superior brightness and maximum resolution.
