For professional use in corporate and event installations, the white NP-PA804UL-W 8200-Lumen WUXGA Laser Projector from NEC is capable of projecting images at 1920 x 1200 resolution when equipped with a lens (not included). Thanks to a built-in video processing and upscaling chip, the projector is also 4K ready, working to provide high definition results without loss of detail. Designed with large venues in mind, the NP-PA804UL-W can be part of a video wall installation, where administrators can use TileMatrix to customize settings with on-screen controls. It can also be stacked with additional projectors to boost brightness up to 20,000 lumens, and achieve projection redundancy if one were to fail. These are just a few of the myriad of features available to properly support almost any type of installation location and project.
Motorized Adjustment
When a lens is chosen, the NP-PA804UL-W can provide easy, motorized focus, zoom, and horizontal/vertical shift.
Remote and Automatic Management
Crestron Roomview is supported for integrated into your existing system, unifying management operations, such as controlling the power for multiple projectors over a network. Some management is automatic, such as Direct Power Off, which protects the light source if power is accidentally cut to the projector. The feature keeps the fan running with internal temperature sensors to ensure the projector properly cools down. Then there's the Power Management feature, which allows the projector to automatically turn off when an incoming signal is not detected from any input.
Multiple Surfaces and Orientations
Supporting a roll-free installation, the NP-PA804UL-W can be installed in 360° , even directly up or down as needed. The projector can also be installed on its side for 10:16 aspect ratio portraits. You even have flexibility in the surfaces you project onto with Geometric Correction, which allows images to project onto spheres, cylinders, corner angles, and more.
Cornerstone Correction
Whatever orientation or surface you choose, you can utilize the cornerstone correction feature to correct images horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. You can do this even when the projector is installed at an angle to the screen.
Picture Modes
In addition to a standard projection, you can select Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Picture-on-Picture (POP), or Side-by-Side modes. In PIP, a second frame from a second source can be overlayed on top of the first. POP surrounds the main frame with multiple additional frames, and Side-by-Side places two sources in two frames adjacent to one another.
Built-in HDBaseT
Using the HDBaseT connection, you can simplify installation with a single cable that can transmit video, audio, and control signals.
ProAssist Software
Supporting NEC's ProAssist software, your IT staff can remotely manage one or more projectors, and the projected image, over a network from a PC.
Virtual Remote
Control the projector over a VGA cable directly from a PC without the need for an additional control cable.
Built-in Wall Color Correction
Built-in presets provide adaptive color tone correction to display your image properly on non-white surfaces.
VORTEX Technology Plus
VORTEX Technology Plus improves white level, color accuracy, dynamic range, and varying levels of black in an image.
Advanced AcuBlend
This feature helps to output detailed images when non-native resolution sources are used.
Dual HDMI inputs
Connect up to two sources with dual HDMI inputs with HDCP, which provides the option of quick switching between presentations and allowing for simultaneous digital connections of high-definition sources, such as Blu-ray players, cable boxes, satellite receivers, and computers.
Variable Audio Out
Adjust the volume of an optional external speaker system using the projector's remote.
Additional Features
- Edge blending to create large seamless images with additional projectors
- Vertical and horizontal lens shift
- Quick start up lets you start presenting in as little as 3 to 4 seconds
- Quick power off lets you shut down without waiting for the unit to cool down
