ice little tripod for the money. (Purchased it on sale to use as a children's spotting scope tripod. I am a Birding guide.) But; needs work to get the most from it. Once you open all the leg sections; give the leg locks a little extra twist. They need it to fully lock tight. The rubber, and spiked feet are terrible! They are not tightly fitted; and rattle terribly. [Very annoying, and feel very flimsy!] Plus: the spikes are not really spikes. Spikes are pointed. These are fully rounded off at the ends! I had to crazy glue (twice) both parts of the rubber feet to the carbon tube fitting's to get them to stop rattling permanently! Fitted a Slik Leveling Unit II to get a level horizon, and a great little SmallRig pan & tilt video head to that. Excellent, very light setup for children's use with a 50mm, 55mm, 60-62mm, or possibly even a 65mm spotting scope. I wouldn't trust it with any larger of a spotting scope! Still searching for a set of proper sized & length neoprene camouflage leg wraps to not only cushion the setup when carrying it: but also to help dampen any flex vibration's to the spotting scope. It's taken some work to get it to where I want it to be, to function properly, and last? But; all in all. It's not a bad tripod: knowing it's limitations. Especially at the Sale price I purchased it at! And I now found out I can get a Mail in .20.00 Factory Rebate on it! That now makes it an exceptional value!
