Insta360 GPS Smart Remote for ONE Series Cameras

So far this remote ticks all of the boxes. Easy to setup, easy to see and easy to use. I have the X3 on a 9'8 selfie stick and the connection to the camera works great. I would definitely recommend this remote.

The device does what it says it will do. But it has a few dis likes for me. All 3 buttons are way to stiff and hard to push, not sure why the made them so hard to push. Being round and small it is hard to hold. It would of been nice if the added some way to grip or hold onto it. If it had a proper lanyard holder this might not be an issue. It comes strap that runs into a belt loop on the back, It is not stable at all when using the strap and with the buttons being so hard to push you are cashing the remote around what ever the strap is attached to. Not an easy one handed operation or to use as you would think. On the part of the strap it would of been nice to put some sort of way add a lanyard to it like a key or pendent. Then I could clip it to a belt loop or hang it from a lanyard etc. that way it is easy to get too when need. The belt loop on the back is centered so it does not hang correctly from a lanyard or key chain style hook etc. (not part of the review, just an added note) Instruction booklet. It would be nice if they added more to it. I does not say what the different color of the light means. I think I have seen it a Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and or a light Blue. And what is it with making the instructions so small. I need to use a magnifying glass to read them...The instructions should be better.

Works as intended. Using it for an X3 on a kayak pole mount so this makes starting and stopping video super convenient. The added GPS data overlay on videos is also super cool

Works well as a remote but you can buy a remote for €10. I wanted it for the gps tagging and it takes forever to lock on. Also the gps data does not appear as a part of the exif file and can only be read by the Insta software.
