For this price I have to say my expectation is high. It is not a bad tripod. Actually I like the build in leveling base very much. However I was disappointed to see the cheap leg locks, which are the same as those used on Leofoto tripods. They are easy to get loose accidentaly and have no dust sealing. The carbon fiber tubes do not have the same rigid feeling as those from RRS and Gitzo, but again, are very similar to what Leofoto uses. Were it price in the same league as Leofoto, I probably would have kept it. But for this price, I am expect RRS and Gitzo level of quality which it is well short of. The other important thing to note is that although it has a Gitzo 5 series sized apex, it does not accept Gitzo 5 series bowl or other 5 series accessories because the opening is a little too small to for them to fit in.
