iFi audio iPurifier3 USB Type-B Purifier
Reduce noise in your USB audio playback with the iFi AUDIO iPurifier3 USB Type-B Purifier. This device uses active noise cancellation to help reduce the noise from the power supply to enhance sound quality. It also employs iFi s REclock, REbalance, and REgenerate technology to minimize jitter and balance the USB data stream. It has a USB 3.1 Gen. 1 Type-B input and a USB Type-B 2.0 output.
Active Noise Cancellation2
The iPurifier3 is designed to identify noise frequency, then generate identical but opposite frequencies to help actively cancel all the incoming noise.
Three-in-One Re-Clocking
Designed for use with all downstream DACs, REclock is a three-in-one feature engineered to re-clock, regenerate, and repeat the USB audio data streaming, helping to eliminate jitter for enhanced music flow. REbalance is designed to remove the DC offset in a USB audio signal to re-balance it to decrease the threshold of background noise and help achieve an overall noise reduction of 40 dB on the input signal and a leveling from 100 to 5 mV on the audio band through the USB signal.
OS-CON Capacitors
These capacitors are engineered to have a low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR), augmented noise reduction capability, enhanced frequency characteristics, and a long lifespan.
Tantalum Capacitors
These polarized electrolytic capacitors are designed to have superior frequency and stability characteristics to help provide a high volumetric efficiency.
MELF Resistors
MELF (metal electrode leadless face) resistors are engineered for enhanced accuracy, stability, reliability, and pulse load capability.
Copper-Alloy Shielding
The EMI shielding is designed to isolate devices and cables to help block RF electromagnetic radiation.
Multi-Format Support
The iPurifier3 supports PCM, DSD, and DXD audio formats.
