Experience the magic of a synthesizer few have played in person with the PS-3300 from Cherry Audio, an exacting recreation of the classic 1977 semi-modular polysynth. Fully resurrecting the unique voice architecture of the original with the flexibility of virtual control, the PS-3300 is ideal for a wide range of music styles and sound effects.

The PS-3300 sports a maximum 24 voices of polyphony with three mono modes: last, low, and high-note priority. Each VCO features six waveforms, and you also get three modulation-friendly bandpass filters, three VCFs with selectable filter styles, three ADSR envelope generators, six syncable LFOs with numerous waveform options, and a full temperament section with precision tuning. Integrated studio-quality FX include chorus, echo with sync, and three types of reverb (spring, plate, and Galactic). Designed to function as either a standalone product or a plug-in, PS-3300 is available in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX plug-in formats and supports macOS and Windows computers.

Faithfully Recreated Voice Architecture

As a faithful emulation of the 1977 classic, the PS-3300 sports three independent signal generator panels, each with an oscillator, low-pass filter, three-peak resonators, envelope with velocity, amp, two mod generator LFOs, and per-note tuning:

• Three VCOs with six waveforms: triangle, saw, square, two preset pulse waves (with different widths), and variable PWM
• Three resonant 12 dB per octave VCFs with options for the standard clean PS filter or the crunchier MS-style filter
• Three modulatable triple resonators, which are 12 dB/oct bandpass filters that produce vowel or phasing tones
• Three discreet ADSR-type envelope generators with velocity control and amplitude modulation
• Three sets of LFO pairs with sync and output jacks, with one LFO sporting triangle, sawtooth, ramp, square, pink noise, and white noise waveforms, and the other featuring a triangle waveform
• Three temperament sections with individual tuning knobs for the 12 chromatic notes, plus temperament presets for Equal Tempered, Mean Tone System, Hepatonal System, and Just Intonation
• Copy/paste settings from one signal generator panel to another

Sophisticated Virtual Controls

Cherry Audio fully recreated the semi-modular control scheme of the original PS-3300, providing full semi-modular patching flexibility with the added convenience of virtual controls. The virtual jack and cable system provide unlimited mults (signal splitters) per jack and customizable color, transparency, and animation for cables. You also get:

• Individual channel panning
• User-selectable bend range and master tune

Professionally Designed Presets

The PS-3300 includes over 360 professionally designed presets in a dozen categories. These include a bonus Legacy collection of basic presets based on the patch sheets in the original PS-3300 owner's manual, a 3100-based Glissando patch, and a 432 Hz Equal Temperament patch, all to get your started in your own sound design adventures.

Optional Preset Pack

Sound designer James Dyson's Resonation Preset Pack (sold separately) includes additional presets that go further into the relative dimensions between light and shadow, and all the way to the outer limits.
