ILIO VSLSYT32 Overview

Big Bang Orchestra: Orion Woodwind Sections is a sample-based virtual instrument designed to provide easy-to-use woodwind orchestral elements for composing and scoring. The instrument offers four separate ensembles of flutes, oboes, clarinets and bassoons, with three musicians playing in unison in each ensemble. The software is compatible with Mac and Windows computers, operates in AU, VST, VST2, and AAX formats, and integrates perfectly with every module in the BBO series.

Four Woodwind Ensembles

Big Bang Orchestra: Orion includes the ensembles of:

• 3 Flutes
• 3 Oboes
• 3 Clarinets in Bb
• 3 Bassoons

Articulations

• All ensembles include a wealth of articulations, with a special focus on the beautifully performed legatos that are available in two variations, regular and espressivo.
• Other playing techniques include short notes, long notes, repetitions, espressivo, soft swells, sforzando, sforzatissimo, crescendos, flutter tongue (for flutes and clarinets), and fast repetitions.
• These are available in three tempos (120, 140, 160 BPM), but they can always be synced to your host tempo using the Synchron Player s time-stretch feature.

Mixer Presets

• It s easy to create the perfect mix for your arrangement with your Big Bang Orchestra mixer presets. There are 6 levels of reverberation and additional processed presets with each of the microphone setups Close, Classic, Wide, Distant, Ambient, and Wet.
• The factory mixer presets are based on the room microphones, leaving the section microphones disabled. Section microphones (further to the right in the mixer) can be added to emphasize the power of certain sections. Activate additional channels by clicking on the channel name.
• The faders have been set to good starting points to customize your mix. Change the level, panning, delay and channel EQ settings for each channel, you are free to insert any of the built-in FX plug-ins to further optimize your sound.

Powerful Presets

• The woodwinds of BBO: Orion are completely new recordings that can be seamlessly combined with the tutti recordings of the other Big Bang Orchestra modules to add even more colors.
• Synchron Player offers mixer presets that blend perfectly well with all the other BBO sections and ensembles. The Processed category offers mixer presets such as Compressed, Sparkling, Distorted Delays, and many more.
