Vienna Symphonic Library Big Bang Orchestra: Neptune - Tutti Woodwinds is a sample-based virtual instrument designed to provide easy-to-play full woodwind orchestral elements for composing and scoring. The instrument features a meticulously recorded 13-piece tutti woodwind section that corresponds exactly to the ones included in the Big Bang Orchestra modules, where the entire orchestra is playing at once (e.g., Andromeda, Black Eye, and Capricorn). The software is compatible with Mac and Windows computers, operates in AU, VST, VST2, and AAX formats, and integrates perfectly with every module in the BBO series.

A Full 13-Piece Woodwind Section

In Big Bang Orchestra: Neptune, the tutti ensemble of all the woodwinds brings together 13 musicians with their diverse instruments, from the piccolo to the contrabassoon. Recording the rich and colorful sound of these heterogeneous instruments as a group is ideal for showcasing the delicate balance and blend of the entire woodwind choir, particularly when employing Vienna s finest players. Via key switching, you have the option to remove the piccolo, and its clearly audible high tone from the tutti sound, if you wish. Articulations

• The included articulations with up to three velocity layers correspond to those of the other tutti BBO modules such as Andromeda, with variations of short notes, long notes, repetitions, espressivo, soft swells, sforzando, sforzatissimo, crescendos, flutter tongues, trills, and fast repetitions.
• The woodwinds of BBO: Neptune are completely new recordings that can be seamlessly combined with the tutti recordings of the other Big Bang Orchestra modules to add even more variety and colors. As always, the Synchron Player offers a wide variety of mixer presets that blend perfectly well with all the other BBO sections and ensembles. In addition, the Processed category offers mixer presets such as Compressed, Sparkling, Howling Woods, Outer Space Woods, and more.

Mixer Presets

• It s easy to create the perfect mix for your arrangement with your Big Bang Orchestra mixer presets. There are 6 levels of reverberation and additional processed presets with each of the microphone setups Close, Classic, Wide, Distant, Ambient, and Wet.
• The factory mixer presets are based on the room microphones, leaving the section microphones disabled. Section microphones (further to the right in the mixer) can be added to emphasize the power of certain sections.
• Activate additional channels by clicking on the channel name. This will load the samples required for playback, and the faders are automatically set to good starting points to customize your mix.
• Change the level, panning, delay, and channel EQ settings for each channel, and you are free to insert any of the built-in FX plug-ins to further optimize your sound.

Powerful Presets

• With mixer presets such as War Fanfare or String is King, you can emphasize certain sections of the orchestra.
• Room Mixes feature an excellent mix-down to stereo from the Decca tree and surround mic positions for a CPU and RAM-saving sound that s perfectly balanced right out of the box.
• Other Mixer Presets offer a combination of mic signals that you can adjust to your needs and liking, masterfully crafted by Synchron Stage Vienna s chief recording engineer, Bernd Mazagg. These include Stereo Decca Tree and Surround to Stereo that feed the surround mics to the stereo signal for a richer and wider sound.
• Also included are Surround presets for 3D audio setups, as well as a Processed category with presets such as Close Big, Wide Big, Ambient Big, Massive, Lush, Vintage Tape, and many more.
