From Rhythmic Textures to Floating Spheres

• Big Bang Orchestra: Regulus reveals an abundance of effects and unusual playing techniques, originally recorded for the Synchron FX Strings I Collection, including pulsating textures, suspense-packed tensions, risers, hits, clusters, and much more.
• Evoke mesmerizing soundscapes and inspiring loops played by a 50-piece string section, from lightly bowed whispers to rumbling swarms. Easily create a panoply of colors and entire sonic worlds by simply holding one or two keys, and change intensity or add variety by moving preconfigured controls.
• The 50-piece string ensemble is divided into 6 sections: 14 first violins, 10 second violins, 6 first violas, 6 second violas, 8 cellos, 6 double basses.
• Just like its bigger brother Synchron FX Strings, BBO: Regulus offers production-ready musical elements in these categories: spherical textures, character textures, glissandos, rises and hits, clusters, harmonic effects, pizzicato effects, special pads, and inspiration crossfades. Dig into this treasure trove of tonal and atonal recordings and combine anything with everything to create your personal, unique tone.

Modify Your Sound with the Included Synchron Player

• The section microphones can be independently adjusted in the integrated mixer of the Synchron Player, allowing you to emphasize the power of certain sections and giving you more freedom to modify your overall string sound.
• Six levels of reverberation and additional processed presets are offered for each microphone setup: Light, Close, Classic, Wide, Distant, and Ambience.
• Change the level, panning, delay, and channel-EQ settings for each channel. You can also insert any of the built-in FX plug-ins to further optimize your sound.
• While 50 microphones were used to capture an array of positions, from close to ambient, Synchron Player s integrated mixer presents you with 16 channels that offer close mic signals of each ensemble, front and back mics, Decca tree, main surround, and high-surround signals.

Room Microphone Presets

• Room Mix Presets: Based on a room mix created from all available room microphones.
• Stereo Decca Tree Presets: The Decca Tree is the microphone tree that is the heart and soul of every orchestral recording. It consists of a main stereo channel and a mono center channel, which capture the details of the room from the conductor s perspective.
• Surround-to-Stereo Presets: Offers the massive sound of all available room microphones including the Decca Tree mics down-mixed to a stereo signal.
• Surround Presets: With your Synchron Player inserted as a surround plug-in in your DAW, these presets provide the starting point for your surround setup.
• Experimental Presets: These special Mixer Presets try out some more fancy settings of the Player s integrated FX section to demonstrate the vast sound possibilities of the Big Bang Orchestra. Feel free to add more FX.
