Experience the holy grail tone cherished by Eddie Van Halen with BM Roots of the 51 from Overloud, an add on for TH-U rig player that recreates the sound of an EVH 5150III 100W amp head. Loaded with 4 cabs, 5 mics, 3 boost pedals, and 85 rigs total, this library is ideal for thick, powerful tones.

Just like the original, this rig library sports both Blue and Red channels. Along with the 85 rigs, you get 9 DI rigs ideal for acoustic/electric instruments, keyboards, and more. Within TH-U, you can freely place your different mics in a 3D space for your ideal mic set up.

Note, this rig library is for use with TH-U rig player only. TH-U supports macOS and Windows computers and AAX, VST, and AU plug-in formats.

True-to-Life Capture

The capturing sessions were made at the Sandlane Studio, a studio specialized in recording high-gain hard rock and metal. That's why this is not just any 5150 rig library-this is the most realistic and artist-aligned capture of this legendary amp.

Unique Effects Included

This rig library includes two unique effects designed with Bert Meulendijk. The Stryverb is a rich and lush reverb effect with a long and modulated tail and a very modern vibe. The Parallel Compressor includes a Parallel knob, which allows you to blend the direct input with the compressed tone in order to have full control over the dynamics of the instrument.
