Available for download, Best Service Elysion is a virtual instrument that provides a different take on synthesized sounds. Rather than offering digital creations, the good people at Best Service have sampled futuristic sounds they ve synthesized in the real world, recording and treating them just like acoustic instruments.
Elysion contains 142 instruments, as well as 230 animated themes to be used in your sound design schemes and compositions. This virtual instrument gives you over 12,500 samples in 12.94 GB, so that each of the 142 hybrid instruments can provide you with up to three round-robins and five velocity layers.
This software is compatible on Mac and Windows platforms, and will operate in AU, VST, AAX, and NKS formats. Native Instruments Kontakt Player is required to play this software and it is included with your purchase.
Ensemble Engine 2.0
The ensemble engine, which lets you play and customize up to five instrument modules simultaneously, has been reworked. Within every module, you are now free to control it via envelope or arpeggiator. You can now morph between two layers in both the arpeggiator and the envelope, which lets you control up to 10 interleaved rhythms in one patch. An additional stutter feature enriches the possibilities of the envelope even more, letting you create extremely complex rhythms using sustained instruments.
Motion Engine
Elysion comes with its own dynamic FX engine, allowing you to customize the instruments from the ground up. Besides other effects, the motion engine includes also two pan steppers, breathing life and variation into every pattern.
MIDI Drag-and-Drop
Once you have been inspired by a theme, drag and drop the arrangement of your performance into your DAW. Now you are free to use it within every library you own. Unleash the power of the ensemble engine onto your personal template, changing notes, combining different patterns, and making them your own.
