The Mutec MC8.1 Multichannel Interface and Sampling Rate Converter for AES3id to AES3 converts the AES/EBU3id to the AES/EBU3 interface standard. It features a variety of working modes that enable the MC8.1 to be used in a very wide range of applications. Not only can up to eight-channel signals be converted into the other interface standard, but their clock rates can also be converted in a range of 32 to 192 kHz. In addition, the unit offers the option of splitting or distributing individual signals or pairs of signals. The MC8.1 can also work as dual AES3 signal splitters, with or without sample rate conversion.
