MSI MORTAR MAX WIFI Overview

Whether you're looking to create content, play games, or both, the MAG B550M MORTAR MAX WIFI AM4 Micro-ATX Motherboard from MSI provides a strong foundation for your custom build with support for liquid cooling and high-speed USB ports.

Supporting the AMD AM4 socket with the B550 chipset, this micro-ATX motherboard is compatible with a wide range of 3rd generation AMD Ryzen processors. It can also be outfitted with up to 128GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory reaching speeds of up to 4400 MHz with A-XMP overclocking to achieve smooth performance and multitasking. In addition to having six SATA III drive headers, you can install one M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD and one M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 drive into the available slots. Powerful graphics cards may be installed into the available PCIe 4.0 x16 and PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for fast gaming and rendering performance. There are also two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots available for compatible expansions. The rear panel includes USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 2 ports that can quickly transfer massive files from compatible devices while a mouse and keyboard may be plugged into the USB 2.0 ports. HDMI and DisplayPort outputs allow you to take advantage of CPUs with integrated graphics. Built-in Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and a 2.5G Ethernet port let you connect to compatible high-speed networks. Windows 10 or 11 64-bit is required to use all of the motherboard's features.
