The Chromebox 5 from ASUS delivers performance and responsiveness for enhanced productivity. It features a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1240P 12-Core processor and 8GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 memory for driving multiple simultaneous tasks. For storage of your files, there is a 128GB NVMe PCIe SSD with an M.2 2280 form factor. If you want to add external storage drives, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, or other peripherals, the Chromebox 5 features two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. Connect up to four 4K displays using the two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, and one Thunderbolt 4 port, the latter of which supports data transfers up to 40 Gb/s and DisplayPort 1.4. Network connectivity is achieved using a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port, or connect wirelessly using dual-band Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax). Additional wireless peripherals, such as keyboards and mice, may be connected using Bluetooth 5.3. Rounding things off is a microSD card reader and power is provided by an included 150W power adapter.
