The memory comes in a 2 x 16GB configuration and can be upgraded to 512GB by using a 64GB module in each of the eight 288-pin DIMM slots.

For storage of your files, the 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD offers quick access to your data. For additional internal storage, there is an extra M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot, plus two 3.5" drive bays. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the ThinkStation P5 features one 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port, two 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, five 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack, a 3.5mm line input, and a 3.5mm line output. The dedicated NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics card has 12GB of GDDR6 RAM, delivers a sharp, clear picture, and features four Mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs which support a maximum resolution of 7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz. Network connectivity is achieved using an integrated Gigabit Ethernet port and content from memory cards can be downloaded using an integrated 15-in-1 card reader.

The ThinkStation P5 Tower Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a power cord. It runs using a 1000W power supply and the installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro for Workstations (64-bit). Protection is provided by a limited 3-year onsite warranty with a free 3-year Premiere Support upgrade.

Internal Storage Expansion

The ThinkStation P5 has two NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots and two 3.5" SATA III drive bays. An optional storage bay can be used for a third 3.5" drive, while a Flex module in the 5.25" bay contains the 15-in-1 card reader and may be removed and replaced with a third M.2 drive. An additional four M.2 drives can be installed using a Quad M.2 to PCIe adapter.

Windows 11 Pro
