Powered by a 3.2 GHz Intel Xeon w5-3425 12-Core processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, the ThinkStation P7 can deliver the power and performance needed by data scientists, engineers, and senior creatives for intense workflows, such as game development, 3D rendering, and more. Performance

The system houses a 3.2 GHz Intel Xeon w5-3425 12-Core processor. It features a stock speed of 3.2 GHz and can be boosted up to 4.6 GHz.

Dedicated Graphics

The dedicated NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics card with 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM, delivers a sharp, clear picture, and features four Mini DisplayPort 1.4 outputs.

Expansion Options

The ThinkStation P7 offers a variety of expansion options. There are 8 DDR5 DIMM slots, allowing for up to 1TB. There are also up to nine M.2 slots, depending on the configuration. Each M.2 slot supports up to a 4TB SSD. There are also three 3.5" internal drive bays, each supports a 12TB 3.5" hard drive. For PCIe, there are a total of seven PCIe slots.

Connectivity

With plenty of USB-A ports, the ThinkStation P7 allows you to connect compatible peripherals and accessories. There is also a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port. For internet connectivity, the ThinkStation P7 features both a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 LAN jack and a 10 GbE RJ45 LAN jack.

Security and Privacy

The ThinkStation P7 offers a discrete TPM 2.0 security chip. It also features a variety of physical security options, such as access panel lock kit with a common key and a Kensington lock slot. There is also a cover lock and a chassis intrusion switch to prevent unauthorized access.

Windows 11 Pro

Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
