Designed primarily for professionals, the 2TB Atom EV CAM USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 Portable NVMe SSD from Glyph provides fast, reliable recording with compatible cinema cameras. Tested for demanding workflows such as shooting ProRes 422HQ 5.7K 30 fps or BRAW 6K CBR 5:1 50 fps, the EV CAM can transfer up to 1000 MB/s with its USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connection, which reduces the need to juggle multiple memory cards.
Its rugged aluminum housing with a removable cover is designed to quickly dissipate heat to maintain optimal performance during sustained data transfers, making it ideal for both on-location and studio shoots. Simply connect the portable drive to your computer and edit from it directly. No additional software drivers are required. The drive is preformatted for macOS and may be reformatted for Windows compatibility. It also works with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 ports with the included cables.
