SecureData SecureDrive BT 2TB Encrypted HDD with Bluetooth Authentication

The SecureDrive BT Encrypted HDD is a software-free hard disk drive that supports a capacity of up to 2TB. This bluetooth hardware encrypted drive must be connected to a computer featuring a USB 2.0 port for use. It is accessed with user authentication via the DataLock app from any smartphone, tablet, wearable, or similar mobile device (available for download at the app store Apple/Android). The SecureDrive BT can be unlocked with a user created seven to 15-digit alpha numeric pin or Apple touch ID/face recognition. All user data, PINs, crypto parameters, and encryption keys are always encrypted while at rest.

You can save boot files and drivers required to load a PC, laptop, or workstation on a SecureDrive and it will keep your system image fully encrypted until you re ready to load the machine

To protect against unauthorized access when the drive is connected to a host computer and unattended, the drive can be set to automatically lock after a pre-set amount of time of inactivity

The step-away auto lock will lock the drive (disappear from the File Explorer/Finder) when the iOS/Android device is moved about 9.8 away from the drive for longer than 5 seconds
