Built with a preinstalled 2TB hard drive that is formatted EXT3, the DC115 DC Drive Carrier from CRU-DataPort is a rugged and reliable all-metal drive carrier for ingesting, duplicating, distributing, and protecting media. It inserts quickly and easily into CRU DX115 DC frames in digital cinema servers or ingestion racks. Compatible with Windows and Mac, it supports SAS and SATA hard drives or solid-state drives with a 2.5" or 3.5" form factor and transfer speeds of 6 Gb/s or 3 Gb/s. Thanks to an Auto Start feature, the DX115 DC powers up automatically after the carrier is installed, without needing to push the on/off button. Also available is a Host Activity LED feature which allows the choice of having the disk drive or the PCI host adapter control the Host Activity LED on the DX115 DC Frame.
