Single- and double-sided 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 M.2 drives are supported once an M.2 drive is installed, the adapter can be hot-swapped with other 2.5" U.2 drives in a compatible host bay. A full metal construction ensures durability as well as efficient thermal offloading. Please note that this adapter requires an NVMe (PCIe) enabled U.2 host.
