CRU-DataPort Forensic ComboDock V6

The dual mode ComboDock has a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with data transfer speeds up to 10 Gb/s and works natively with the most common types of hard drives and SSDs with IDE/PATA and SATA interfaces. Its built-in LCD screen can display the model and serial number reported by the attached drive s firmware and important SMART data such as hours used, number of power cycles, and disk health. Along with cables, free software is included to view and save this information on a computer for case reports.

Write Blocking & Read/Write Modes

Write-blocking, known as spoof writing, allows your operating system to appear as if it has successfully written files to the drive. Simply disconnect and reconnect the drive to see the files disappear. Designed to be impossible to unintentionally turn off write-blocking, each time you turn on the ComboDock it will ask if you want to boot into Write-Block mode, or to use the drive in standard read and write mode, preventing compromising evidence if you forget to turn a mode off.

Detect & Remove Hidden Areas

Navigate the LCD menu see important information at your fingertips, but also to detect, modify, or remove Device Configuration Overlays (DCOs), Host Protected Areas (HPAs), and Accessible Max Address Configurations (AMAs) to find hidden data on the suspect drive. The Forensic ComboDock has no DIP switches.
