The ExpressCage 6-Bay 2.5" SAS/SATA Drive Cage from Icy Dock occupies a desktop s 5.25" bay to provide your system with six hot-swap 2.5" storage drive bays. These drive bays support internal 2.5" SSDs and HDDs that feature a SAS or SATA interface. Furthermore, the bays are able to accommodate 5 to 9.5mm tall drives.
Mounting your drives is quick and easy with the included ExpressTrays, which attach to a drive via built-in screws and a rear tab. Screw holes are also available beneath the tray to provide additional stability.
For cooling, two 40mm fans are on board while an adjustable speed jumper lets you set the fan s speed to High, Low, or Auto. Powering all six drives can be accomplished via two 15-pin SATA power connections. Moreover, Active Power Technology keeps the enclosure powered down until a drive is inserted.
