Designed for on-the-go professionals with demanding workflows, the aluminum Fortis 5C 5-Bay USB-C External Drive Enclosure from Oyen Digital features a molded handle for travel and is encased by a silicone rubber sleeve for protection and durability.
It connects to your Windows, Mac, or Linux host system using a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable, which provides data transfer rates up to 10 Gb/s. Each of the five bays accommodates up to 20TB 3.5 SATA drives, and the removable drive trays sport keylocks to prevent accidental removal. When internal temperatures reach 95° F, the Fortis 5C exhausts air away from the internal drives automatically with its 3500 rpm intelligent cooling fan, which is configurable for 24/7 operation while producing only 32 dBA of noise, ensuring stability and quiet performance. This enclosure is configured for JBOD and is software RAID compatible.
