The USB 3.1 Drive Docking Station for 2.5` and 3.5` SATA Drives from StarTech allows users to connect and access almost any bare 2.5` or 3.5` SATA hard drive or SSD to their host system for drive imaging, data recovery, and backups. This dock supports SATA III 6 Gb/s, SATA II 3 Gb/s, and SATA I 1.5 Gb/s drives, and is plug-and-play compatible with most operating systems using its one USB 3.1 Type-B port, which operates at speeds up to 10 Gb/s, or its one eSATA port, which operates at speeds up to 6 Gb/s. The lone drive bay has an overhead loading system, a power and activity LED, and supports hot swapping, meaning drives can be changed out without needed to power down the system.
