13th Gen Intel Core i9 Performance

The system houses a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor. It can reach a stock speed of 2.6 GHz and can be boosted up to 5.4 GHz. There are six performance cores and eight efficiency cores for a total of 14 cores. The performance cores drive demanding games and apps while the efficiency cores smoothly take care of background tasks. Combined with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD, the ROG Flow Z13 provides the performance you need.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series Graphics

The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series laptop graphics card is designed to deliver high frame rates and advanced features such as real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and more to enhance your entertainment and content creation experiences. This dedicated GPU is powered by NVIDIA DLSS 3, efficient Ada Lovelace architecture, and Max-Q technologies. With NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, the Flow Z13 automatically route frames from the discrete GPU directly to the display using a MUX switch, bypassing integrated graphics for improved performance of 5 to 10%.

13.4" ROG Nebula Display

The 13.4" ROG Nebula Display features a QHD+ 2560 x 1600 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 165 Hz refresh rate. For gaming, the screen has NVIDIA G-SYNC support, which eliminates visual tearing, minimize stuttering, and reduce input lag. The Pantone Color validated display has 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support. The display also has Dolby Vision support, which improves on standard HDR 4K video, dynamically adjusting visuals.

Design

The ROG Flow Z13 features a 2-in-1 convertible design where the keyboard can be detached from the screen, turning it into a tablet. With a design inspired by the 20th-century Space Race, the Flow Z13 has numerous nods to retro-futurism. The chassis is covered with spacecraft-inspired machining, carved right into the high-density aluminum alloy itself. The premium coating repels and reduces the appearance of fingerprints, making cleaning the surface a breeze. The CNC-milled rear window allows a glimpse of the components.

Vapor Chamber Cooling

The ROG Flow Z13 features a vapor chamber, which has significantly more surface area than a standard heatpipe design. This allows the cooling to make contact with multiple heat sources, such as the CPU, GPU, and VRM. The updated Arc Flow Fans feature curved blades specially shaped to maximize airflow with minimal noise. The variable thickness design can get as thin as 0.1mm to reduce turbulence. Robust Connectivity

Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port. Other connectivity options include USB-C, USB-A, ROG XG Mobile Interface, and a microSD card reader.

Windows 11

Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps.
