Similar to a keychain with a bunch of keys, the DL-AR2 Universal HDMI Adapter Ring from Digitalinx is a flexible steel/poly cable band with four different HDMI adapters secured to it via their eyelets. Designed for mobile presentations, it allows the presenter to quickly choose the appropriate adapter for most devices, such as a laptop or camera. Also included is a clamp that secures to the main HDMI cable used in a presentation. The four adapters will be dangling from the steel band, and you can connect any of the four to your HDMI cable as your presentation needs require.
The four adapters include micro-HDMI to HDMI, DisplayPort to HDMI, mini-HDMI to HDMI, and Mini DisplayPort to HDMI. The Mini DisplayPort adapter is for Thunderbolt 1 and 2 devices. (Thunderbolt 3 and 4 use a USB-C interface.)
The included clamp can be clamped onto HDMI cables up to 11mm thick. Please note, the clamp has security screws holding it together. These screws must be removed in order to unlock the clamp so that you can clamp it onto an HDMI cable. An optional Torx T10 pin driver is required for that. Digitalinx recommends the Liberty AV T10PD Digital Adapter Ring Tool Set, which includes the pin driver (and a hex wrench).
