This passive adapter is compatible with Thunderbolt 2 or Dual-Mode Mini DisplayPort (DP++) output ports only. It converts a Mini DisplayPort signal to DVI and is not bi-directional. Please note, the host system s graphics processor and the connected DVI display need to support the desired resolution. Furthermore, this adapter is not compatible with Microsoft Surface Docking Stations, AMD Eyefinity, and NVIDIA Surround. It also cannot be converted to a DVI dual-link or DVI-I output.
