ASUS VT229H 21.5' 16:9 Multi-Touch IPS Monitor

Optimized for Windows 10 and its touchscreen functions that include tap, swipe, slide, pinch/stretch, rotate, 5-point touch, and 10-point touch, the VT229H 21.5" 16:9 Multi-Touch IPS Monitor from ASUS combines a capacitive multi-touch display with panel that has a 7H hardness rating, and a native resolution of 1920 x 1080. It also features In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology, support for 16.7 million colors using 6-bit + FRC, a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, an ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio of 100,000,000:1, 250 cd/m² brightness, 102 pixels per inch, and a 5 ms (GtG) response time. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position. This display connects to your host system using its HDMI and VGA inputs, and there is also a 3.5mm audio input which can be used in tandem with the dual integrated 1.5W speakers.

ASUS has engineered the VT229H with support for their proprietary QuickFit Virtual Scale and Splendid Video Intelligence technologies, as well as ASUS Eye Care, Ultra-Low Blue Light, and Flicker-Free technologies. To further help improve viewing and accessibility, the VT229H features a vertical tilt of -5 to 20°.

The ASUS VT229H combines 10-point multi-touch capability with high image quality, flexible connectivity, durability, and ergonomics. It is precise and accurate, featuring a 7H hardness rating and allowing up to 10 simultaneous touches. It is optimized for use with Windows 10, allowing you to work smarter and more efficiently, and is good for public usage with protection and durability. Simply tap, drag, pinch, zoom, or spin with your fingers for a natural touch experience. All Windows 10 touch gestures can be used on the ASUS VT229H.

Vivid Display

The ASUS VT229H has a 21.5" 16:9 widescreen display that delivers high image quality, thanks to a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 178° IPS wide-viewing-angle panel. With a fast 5 ms response time, you`ll get sharp images, and you can also choose your preferred aspect ratio for scaling non-widescreen images - either 16:9 or 4:3 - using the ASUS Aspect ratio control.
