The 8TB LinkStation 220 Personal Cloud Storage NAS Drive from Buffalo gives you the ability to create your own personalized cloud. With the integrated Gigabit Ethernet port you can connect the LinkStation 220 directly to the internet giving you access to all of your stored content from nearly any web enabled device. You can access content on iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices as well as both Windows and Mac based computers. This NAS storage solution is also includes Twonky, a DLNAserver, and iTunes server compatibility to stream all of your content to directly to your devices.
Inside the LinkStation 220 you will find two separate drives which can be configured into RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD depending on what type of storage you need. Each drive is supported by a SATAII 3 Gb/s drive interface ensuring a fast flow of data to and from the drive. In addition to the two included drives, the LinkStation 220 also comes equipped with a USB 2.0 port to attach external USB drives.
