This entry to mid-level desktop enclosure supports up to three 3.5" hard drives, the minimum needed for a RAID 5 configuration, which optimizes speed, data protection, and storage capacity. Separately sold adapters are required to install 2.5" drives. Performance can be further enhanced by installing compatible solid-state cache drives into the two M.2 2280 slots. This NAS enclosure integrates into your network through its high-speed 2.5G Ethernet port. When configured with three 2.5" SSDs in RAID 5 mode, the TS-364 can reach up to 271 MB/s sequential read speeds with 251 MB/s write speeds, making the system ideal for tasks such as streaming videos to connected devices and backing up important files. You can protect your data with 256-bit AES volume encryption. The QNAP TS-364 NAS uses the QTS 5.0.1 operating system.
