Axis Communications D8208-R Overview
Built primarily for challenging installations such as alongside highways, tunnels, railways, and harbors, the Axis D8208-R 8-Port Multi-Gig PoE 4 Compliant Industrial Outdoor Managed Switch features a shock, vibration, and extreme temperature resistant design. At the same time, it delivers high performance with six Gigabit speed Ethernet ports alongside two 2.5G ports, all of which provide up to 90W of power to compatible devices with a total budget of 480W.
With 62 Gb/s switching capacity and 46.13 Mpps forwarding rate, this switch delivers reliable data transfers. Two SFP+ ports are available for 10 Gb/s fiber uplink connections. The two DIN power connectors offer redundancy with separately purchased PSUs. A DIN rail mount is included alongside AXIS TQ1808-VE surveillance cabinet brackets. Configure your switch through the AXIS Device Manager software.
Ruggedized Design
In addition to being designed to withstand shock and vibrations, this switch can handle temperatures between -40 to 140° F.
