TP-Link TL-SG1005P-PD Overview

Featuring a PoE++ input port, the TP-Link TL-SG1005P-PD 5-Port Gigabit PoE+ Compliant Unmanaged Network Switch allows you to operate IP security cameras, access points, and other PoE+ compatible devices without needing a power outlet nearby. At the same time, its plug and play design allows you to simply connect it without complicated setup or configuration.

This compact desktop switch includes five Gigabit speed Ethernet ports, one of which supports up to 90W PoE++ input while the other four each support up to 30W PoE+ output. The power coming in through the PoE++ port determines the total power budget, which ranges from 9 to 66W. The front panel also includes switches to enable extend and recovery modes. Additionally, the metal housing and fanless design allow it to operate silently in your office or home.

Extend Mode

Ports 1 to 4 may be put into extend mode with a flip of a switch, which allows them to transfer power and up to 10 Mb/s of data across distances of up to 820.21 feet.

PoE Auto Recovery

Turning this feature on helps to ensure stable operation by automatically rebooting dropped or unresponsive PoE devices.

Performance

This network switch delivers smooth data transfers with a 10 Gb/s switching capacity and 7.44 Mpps forwarding rate.
