Each of the two white Wi-Fi 6 routers feature built-in MoCA 2.5 connectors that allow them to communicate directly with each other using your home's existing coaxial wiring. With this design, the ZenWiFi AX Hybrid XC5 is the ideal solution for buildings with thick or metal-reinforced walls that would normally interfere with wireless signals.
Each module includes two internal antennas and transfers up to 2976 Mb/s of data over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with compatible devices, delivering about 3500 square feet of coverage. MoCA throughput can reach speeds of up to 2500 Mb/s, giving the modules a wired backhaul that frees up wireless bandwidth for your devices. Quickly set up and manage your network, including its guest login and parental controls, through the ASUS Router app. Your network is protected by WPA3 encryption in addition to a suite of ASUS AiProtection Pro features.
Wired Connections
Each ZenWiFi AX Hybrid XC5 module may be designated as the main router by connecting its Gigabit Ethernet WAN/LAN port to your broadband modem. The second Gigabit LAN connector may be used with wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and video game consoles.
