High Performance

Each Orbi 960 module communicates with each other over a dedicated 5 GHz backhaul. This maximizes the bandwidth of the remaining 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, delivering optimized performance with up to 200 connected devices such as laptops, tablets, phones, and smart home equipment.

Far-Reaching Coverage

With 12 amplified antennas in each module, this mesh network system covers up to 9000 square feet, allowing you to watch movies from the front and back yard in addition to other hard to reach areas. Mesh networks can operate using a single network ID (SSID) and automatically hand off connections to the module with the strongest signal, allowing you to seamlessly roam from room to room. Alternatively, you can create up to four separate networks to organize your network traffic.

Multi-Gig Connectivity

Take full advantage of multi-Gig internet services or prepare for a future upgrade with the 10 Gb/s WAN port located on the router. Each module also includes one 2.5G Ethernet LAN port alongside three Gigabit-speed ports to support wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, and smart TVs.

Powered by Bitdefender, this software protects your connected devices against hackers, password thieves, and other online threats in real-time. An integrated VPN helps to protect your web-browsing privacy by encrypting your internet connection. Your wireless network is also protected by up to WPA3 security.

Netgear s Smart Parental Controls let you monitor and limit your kids online time. You can pause internet connections for specified devices and create custom profiles for each family member. Features such as Device Usage and Website History lets you monitor internet usage while the My Time app ensures that devices follow the rules even when using LTE connections.
