Ubiquiti Networks airMAX NanoStationlocoM 2.4 GHz Indoor / Outdoor CPE Access Point
EAN: 810354020148
With the 2.4 GHz airMAX NanoStationlocoM from Ubiquiti Networks, you can provide your clients with reliable long-range network connections. Designed to support both Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) and Point-to-Point (PtP) configurations, this Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) access point features a panel antenna with dual-polarity 8.5 dBi gain to communicate with wireless devices over the 2.4 GHz signal band frequency. It also includes a 400 MHz Atheros MIPS 24Kc processor with 32MB of memory and 8MB of flash storage, which can all be powered by connecting the included power-over-Ethernet (PoE) adapter to the 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet port to carry both data and power over a single cable. With its UV-stabilized plastic enclosure, the airMAX NanoStationloco M2 may be mounted either indoors or outdoors with the included wall and pole mounts. Use the airOS software to configure and manage the access point and its connected devices.
General Features
airMAX Technology
Unlike standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using predesignated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller.
This time slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to other outdoor systems in its class.
Intelligent PoE
Remote hardware reset circuitry of the NanoStationlocoM allows the device to be remotely reset from the power supply location.
Intelligent QoS
Priority is given to voice/video for seamless streaming.
Long Distance
The airMAX NanoStationlocoM is capable of high-speed carrier-class links.
Low Latency
Software
airOS
airOS is an intuitive, highly developed Ubiquiti firmware technology designed to require no training to operate. Behind the user interface is a powerful firmware architecture, which enables high-performance outdoor multipoint networking.
airView
Integrated on all Ubiquiti M products, airView provides advanced spectrum analyzer functionality: waterfall, waveform, and real-time spectral views allow operators to identify noise signatures and plan their networks to minimize noise interference.
airControl
airControl is an intuitive, web-based server network management application, which allows operators to centrally manage entire networks of Ubiquiti devices.
