Designed for servers, point-of-sale, routers, switches, hubs, and other network devices, the Smart-UPS X Battery Backup & Surge Protector with SmartConnect from APC has a 2 RU form factor and delivers intelligent and efficient network power protection from entry level to scalable runtime. It can provide up to 8.2 minutes of use when running a full load of 900W and up to 20.9 minutes of use when running a half load of 450W

This Smart-UPS X features an output of 900W / 1000 VA, a nominal input of 220V @ 50/60 Hz A±3 Hz, an input voltage range of 82-143V, eight NEMA 5-15R battery backup outlets, an 8.01 NEMA 5-15P input connection, a surge energy rating of 600 joules, line interactive topology, and a sine waveform output. Included PowerChute Network Shutdown management software helps to provide unattended, yet proper shutdowns of network operating systems, and also included is an Ethernet cable, rack mounting brackets, removable support feet, an RS-232 cable, and a USB cable. Support is provided by a limited 3-year repair or replace warranty, a limited 2-year battery warranty, and a limited lifetime €150,000 equipment protection policy.

The APC SmartConnect ports allow the run time of this unit to be extended. When using five SMX48RMBP2U external battery packs, this UPS can last for over 3 hours at 900W. You ll also be able to view the status of your UPS through a secure web portal. Through this remote management interface, you ll receive automatic notifications, firmware updates, and advanced support.
