Tripp Lite Eaton 9PX6KTF5 Overview

Built with a pre-installed Gigabit network card that enables full remote access and control, the Eaton 9PX6KTF5 Online Double-Conversion UPS from Tripp Lite is a 6 RU rack/tower convertible device with double-conversion topology that provides battery backup and power protection via sine waveform output for mission-critical IT installations, edge networks, and other advanced network applications. Up to four extended battery modules (sold separately) provide hours of extended run time, while ABM technology with 3-stage charging increases internal battery life by 50%. This UPS comes equipped with an output capacity of 6000VA / 5400W, features an input voltage range of 200 to 240 VAC and also has integrated circuitry for EMI/RFI filters. Also featured an integrated LCD panel that tilts up to 45° and keeps you updated on critical load information in real time.

When running a full load, this UPS can power devices for up to 3 minutes. When running a half load, it will last for up to 9 minutes. The 9PX6KTF5 offers two NEMA L6-20R outlets, one NEMA L6-30R outlet, and 18 NEMA 5-20R outlets, all of which are managed and filtered with pure sine AC output for monitoring power consumption down to the group level. Other connections offered are a NEMA L6-30P input plug with a 6 cord, RS-3232 serial, USB-B, and RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet.

The field-replaceable, hot-swappable valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) battery modules allow you to work through short power failures and give you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Exclusive ABM technology increases battery life by 50% and closely monitors battery health to provide advanced notice when batteries need replacing. You can also connect up to four extended battery modules (9PXEBM180RT, sold separately) for hours of extended runtime.

Included Gigabit Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote Access

The NETWORK-M2 Gigabit network card enables full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, reboots of connected equipment, and safe shutdowns. UPS firmware can also be flashed remotely through the NETWORK-M2 without dropping the load, so you don t have to plan for downtime. The card meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards for cybersecurity, which were developed to address the vulnerability of connected devices to known malware/exploits and to protect business from these risks. The optional Environmental Monitoring Probe Gen 2 (EMPDT1H1C2, sold separately) provides a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions.

NEMA Outlets Protect Your Connected Components

Two L6-20R, one L6-30R, and 18 5-20R managed outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor power consumption down to the outlet group level. Power provided by these outlets is filtered to protect connected equipment against damaging surges and line noise. The 9PX6KTF5 also supports hardwired output.

Rotating LCD Interface Keeps You Informed at a Glance

The front-panel LCD provides control settings and critical information to help diagnose any issues. The interface rotates to accommodate both rackmount and tower configurations, and it tilts up to 45° for more comfortable viewing.

Advanced Communications Ports Allow for Automatic Saves and Shutdowns

RS-232 and USB ports connect to a serial-enabled device for a variety of communication options (cables are included). A dry-contact relay port can be programmed through the LCD to provide reliable communications to automation and industrial components. The RPO/ROO connectors permit emergency shutdown or remote restart of all connected equipment.

Versatile Installation Options

You can mount the 9PX6KTF5 in 6 RU of space in an EIA-standard 19" rack using the included 4-post rail kit or an optional 2-post rail kit (RK2PC, sold separately). For installation in 2-post rackmounts, one RK2PC mounting kit is required for each UPS, EBM, PPDM, or transformer. You can also adapt it for tower installation using the included support stands. The 6 power cord with NEMA L6-30P plug connects to a compatible AC outlet. A cable gland and Phillips screwdriver are included for alternate hardwire input.
