ColorFabb 3mm PA-CF Low Warp Filament (700g, Black)
The 3mm PA-CF Low Warp Filament from ColorFabb is strong, durable, and engineered to bring dimensional stability to industrial-strength nylon, making it suitable for those looking for more robust prints with faster turnaround times. Items printed with this industrial nylon filament have higher impact resistance and resist deformation, while retaining strength in harsh and demanding environments, thanks to an elongation break of less than 2% and the ability to perform at operating temperatures of up to 248° & F.
Please be aware that the makeup of this industrial nylon 3D printer filament makes it highly abrasive for most standard tool heads. Use a tool head with hardened steel components that is designed for materials similar to this one, such as the HE Tool Head 0.5mm, the HS Tool Head 0.8mm, or the HS+ Tool Head 1.2mm. 3D printers that are compatible with these tool heads include, but are not limited to, the LulzBot TAZ Pro and LulzBot TAZ Workhorse.
While this material is more resistant to absorbing moisture than other nylon blends, for best results, store it in a dry and sealed environment.
General Features
Highly Durable and Moisture Resistant
PA-CF Low Warp excels in tensile and impact strength and retains its mechanical properties while under continuous use in hot environments up to 248° & F. Unlike other nylon-based materials, this filament is designed to resist moisture absorption. When compared to tradition nylon material like PA6, PA-CF Low Warp will take four times as long to reach the same moisture saturation level.
